Masterclass with Katya Dringenberg

We are meeting Katja Dringenberg - one of Germany’s prominent film editors, dramaturges, and directors - for a masterclass!

Katja was the editor of Tom Tykwer’s early films and has been a long-time collaborator with Milo Rau and Andres Veiel.

She received the German Camera Award twice for Deadly Maria and Black Box BRD. In 2019, she was invited to join the documentary branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Her filmography includes Beltracchi: The Art of Forgery, From Caligari to Hitler, The New Gospel, Girl Gang, The Congo Tribunal, along with many other documentary and feature films.

The event will take place as part of a collaboration between SevilFest and Goethe-Zentrum Baku.
