VII SevilFest presents the Local Short Documentary Film Competition!

In this programme, the past meets the present, the personal intersects with the political, and memory intertwines with loss. A child searching for their father, veterans living with invisible wounds, the disappearing Caspian Sea, Leyla starting a new chapter in life, and filmmakers tracing their family histories all offer different perspectives on contemporary Azerbaijan. Through the Local Short Documentary Film Competition, we showcase emerging and promising voices in documentary cinema.
