Theme: Outsiders
 

The very first events of "SevilFest" were quite different from those held today. In its initial stage, the festival operated as a mobile project. From September to December 2020, film screenings and masterclasses were organized across Baku, Ganja, Shamkir, Tovuz, and Lankaran.
 

The theme of the festival was "Outsiders" (Kənardakılar). This title was symbolic, representing both the exclusion of women from decision-making spheres and the festival's mission to reach regional areas that are often overlooked.
