Aitan İakubova is an ethnic Azerbaijani, a Russian citizen, an activist, and a women's rights advocate. Aitan I write articles for our organizations' websites, covering social and gender issues. I currently live in Azerbaijan and am the founder of the Nadjima Empowerment Foundation, a charitable organization that helps girls from low-income rural families access education.
